Welcome to our Israeli Buddies

This fall we welcome 75 Israeli tenth graders from our three partner schools in Tel Aviv:  Tichon Hadash ~ their delegation of 19 students are participating in our Extended Israel Exchange Program for 3 months; Ironi Tet ~ their delegation of 31 students spent two weeks experiencing American Jewish life with our 44 host students and their families; Gymnasia Herzliya ~ their delegation of 25 students will arrive in late November and will spend two weeks with their 26 host students and families.  Our 75 students will in turn depart for Israel early in 2010 for their respective exchanges. 

We are setting a school record and a national standard for participation in Israel exchange programs with  75% of our tenth grade class participating in our Israel Exchange Programs.   NCJHS is the only full-day high school in America that offers a direct family to family exchange program at the high school level.
