Planned Giving
Your actions today, through a Planned Gift or a Bequest, will enable New Community Jewish High School to plan for tomorrow. Through NCJHS’s Planned Giving program, donors to NCJHS can endow a charitable donation through wills and trusts. Endowment opportunities at NCJHS are numerous and include: Tuition Assistance Fund, Department Chairs, Head of School Chair, Library Fund, Athletics and the Arts.
HOW TO GIVE
BEQUESTS ~A donor may leave cash, securities, real estate, and other assets by will to
NCJHS. The value of such a legacy is tax deductible as allowed by law from the estate of the donor.
CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITY ~ By establishing a charitable gift annuity, you can secure current income for yourself or a loved one, enjoy an immediate income tax deduction and make a significant gift at the same time.
Letter of Intent: This indicates that you plan to establish an endowment through a bequest in your will. Although a letter of intent is nonbinding, it indicates a personal commitment.
Gifts of Appreciated Assets: When you contribute appreciated assets (stocks, bonds and real estate) that have been held for a long time, you can save on capital gains while receiving a charitable tax deduction.
Life Insurance Gifts: The donation of a life insurance policy affords the donor the opportunity to make a gift with a sizable face value for a minimal outlay of cash. Donors may give an existing policy, either fully or partially paid, or a new policy. When NCJHS is named as the owner and beneficiary of the policy, the donor is entitled to a charitable income tax deduction equal to the cash surrender value of the policy and any future premiums paid.
